How does this attach to the microscope eyepiece? Do you remove the actual eyepiece on your microscope? Ours at work is a rather old binocular scope.
Mine just slides into where the oculars go. One must be taken out or have a tri-ocular. Most of the microscopes meet an international size standard. You might have to look that up for an old scope. I have an old microscope scope that I used in the school in the ’60s that it fits on.
Can I connect the USB to a USB / VGA connector and view the images on a monitor without using the CPU?
The equipment requires a software installation for Windows or Apple, so it can’t be connected directly to a monitor. You could connect your computer to the monitor VGA and read it that way. But you do need a computer.
